Mr. Asonye Victor Ngozi is the acting Director of the Ondo State NDDC office of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) in Igbokoda, Elaje Local Government Area, Ondo State, Nigeria. He was a Deputy Director, in the Directorate of Commercial and Industrial development at the Commission's headquarters Port Harcourt Rivers State, before his redeployment to Ondo State. He had also worked in the Department of Public, Private, Partnership Department of the Niger Delta Development Commision NDDC Headquaters between 2015 and 2021.

For 23 years he has been involved in the Public Service and the organized Private Sectors of the Nigerian economy. His competencies and capabilities include but not limited to Practical Accounting, General Administration, Management Advisory Services that covers areas of Entrepreneurship, Micro and small and medium businesses, Strategic management and policy formulation using economic and mathematical models as analytical tools.

He was born on the 12th December, 1975 in Owaza Asa, Ukwa West Local Government Area of Abia State, Nigeria.

He attended Owaza Central School, where he obtained His First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC) in 1985. He also attended Owaza Secondary School, Owaza were he obtained his West African Examination Council (WAEC) in 1991. In 1993 He was offered a provisional Admission into Abia State University Uturu, to study accountancy, and in 1998 he was awarded a Bachelor of Science Degree (Bsc) in accountancy. After his National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) program in 2000 due to his passion to further his education, he proceeded to Rivers State University for his Master Degree in International Economics and finance (MSc). In 2003, he obtained a Master of Science degree from the university. Consequently in 2022, he secured admission again from the same university for his Phd Degree program in International Economics and finance which he has successfully completed his program and now awaiting his final result.

He was the Pioneer branch Manager of Chrome Insurance Brokers, one of the leading insurance brokers in Nigeria. He worked with the Company between 2002 - 2004 before joining the service of the Niger Delta Development Commission in December 2004 as an Assistant Manager. During his work career with the company he made a significant contribution that led to the growth of his company which speaks volume about him with the company till date. He is a team player and loves contributing in solving challenges in a work environment.

Asonye Victor Ngozi Loves reading, writing and general sport activities. He is a devote Christian and have passion in doing the work of God.

He is married to Mrs. Chinwe Grace Victor; and they are blessed with four children.
