Clement Liwhundebe Udie hails from Atiekpe in Obudu Local Government Area of Cross River State. He is an Architect by training and qualification, a public servant with experience in the teaching of the concept, theory and the phenomenon of Architecture and its Practice, Building Construction Technology and Maintenance, Project/Site Management, Project Monitoring, Supervision and Evaluation.

He studied Architecture at the Federal University of Technology, Minna, 1991/1992 and graduated with a Bachelor and Master of Technology Degrees in Architecture.  He proceeded for his National Youth Service Corp at Osun State Ministry of Works, Oshogbo in 1992.

Thereafter, he worked with the Polytechnic Calabar, now Cross River University of Technology (CRUTECH) as a lecturer for five years. (2 years full time and 3 years on part time).  In 1995, he joined the services of the Nigeria Export Processing Zones Authority (NEPZA) as Architect I where he served for 10 years and had risen to the position of Senior Architect.  In 2005, he transferred his services to the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) as a Manager in the Directorate of Project Monitoring and Supervision.

Arc. Udie has attended many Management Development Programmes and Workshops in various fields in the last 23 years, including the “Road to Peace” in the Niger Delta Region, organized by ‘PEARSON’ Canada, 2005 and the Accenture Organized Project Management Capability Training/NDDC Repositioning Project. Visioning and Direction Setting Programme in 2008, including Developing Project Management Framework and Project Management Expertise by the British School of Project Management in 2016.

As a Project Manager in the Directorate of Project Monitoring and Supervision in NDDC and pursuant to the NDDC Mission, Arc. Udie was engaged in projects and programmes that will facilitate the rapid, even and sustainable Development of the Niger Delta Region into a region that is economically prosperous, socially stable, ecologically regenerative and politically peaceful. 

The collective vision which is to offer a lasting solution to the socio-economic difficulties of the Niger Delta Region.   

Presently, Mr. Udie is the Director, Design Department.

  Federation, an Inter-religious and International Federation for the World  

  Peace with special Consultative Status at the United Nations Economic 

  and Social Council.
